Job description

Join First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO)’s dynamic repairs team on a permanent basis as a Multiskilled Joiner, delivering repairs to a local customer base where you can really make a difference.

Responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out specified works in your primary trade (Joiner, Plumber, Plasterer, Bricklayer, Roofer, Tiler, etc.) as directed by the Repairs’ Management Team, including multi-skilled repairs as detailed in Appendix A.
2. Working within a pre-allocated appointment system and liaising with tenants when required.
3. Informing tenants if a repair cannot be completed in the first visit and arranging a return visit.
4. Maintaining repair items and equipment within your vehicle and replenishing as needed.
5. Ensuring all duties comply with health and safety regulations, relevant legislation, and customer care standards.
