Qualifications

Multiskilled Joiner

Join First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO)’s dynamic repairs team on a permanent basis, delivering repairs to a local customer base where you can really make a difference.

So what will you be doing?

  • To carry out all specified works in your primary trade (Joiner, Plumber, Plasterer, Bricklayer, Roofer, Tiler etc) as directed and required by the Repairs’ Management Team as part of the FCHO Repairs Service and in addition carry out multi skilled repairs as detailed in Appendix A. as a minimum
  • To work within a pre-allocated appointment system, including direct liaison with tenants when required.
  • To inform tenants (with reasons) when it is not possible to attempt or complete a repair within the first visit, and make mutually agreed arrangements to return to complete the repair, including liaising with the repairs planning team.
  • To maintain a pre-agreed impress stock of repair items and equipment within the vehicle (if provided) and to replenish at appropriate intervals to ensure minimum repairs downtime.
  • To ensure that all duties carried out comply with: All current relevant health and safety requirements, Relevant Acts of Parliament, Statutory Instruments and Regulations. Working conditions normally inherent in the job and Customer Care standards (this includes before and after completion of repair

  • Has a full UK driving licence
  • QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Has demonstrable experience of working as a multi-skilled joiner on domestic properties
