Job summary

Connect Grp UK Ltd is seeking six experienced carpenters for a high-end commercial fit-out in central London. You will perform 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, interpret technical drawings, and work to precise interiors standards.

The role requires proven carpentry experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to read and apply project drawings and specs to installations. You will contribute to high-quality finishes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, specifically in 1st and 2nd fix work.
• Strong background in general carpentry within interior fit-out projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent craftsmanship with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Previous experience working on commercial interior fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Performing 1st fix carpentry tasks including structural frameworks and framework installations.
• Carrying out 2nd fix carpentry work such as installing fixtures, fittings, and joinery.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Collaborating with the site team to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, specifically in 1st and 2nd fix work
• Strong background in general carpentry within interior fit-out projects
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Excellent craftsmanship with attention to detail and safety standards
• Previous experience working on commercial or similar interior fit-out projects
• blue CSCS nvq lvl 2 as a minimum
