Job summary

A reputable construction company in Bournemouth is seeking a carpenter with a valid CSCS card and own 110V tools for an ongoing temporary role starting ASAP. The position offers hands-on carpentry work on internal fittings and doors.

You will perform first and second fix carpentry, ensure safety on site, and maintain a professional, punctual presence as part of a small team or on a standalone task as directed.

Qualifications

• CSCS Ticket is required.
• Two references from previous carpentry work.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork on site.
• Punctual and reliable on site and able to follow site manager instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry tasks including first and second fix.
• Work on internal fire doors as required by the project.

Job description

Do currently work in Construction? Are you a Carpenter currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CSCS Card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Bournemouth area.

Role: Carpenter

Location: Bournemouth

Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

Start date: ASAP.

Duration: ongoing

Hourly rate: £24-28 p/h

The role:

Working as a carpenter our client will be looking for you to work on internal fire doors.

About you:

You will have previous experience in similar carpentry roles completing first and second fix.

You will have your own tools that are 110v.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be wary of others who are working alongside them.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• 2 References for previous Carpentry work you have completed for contractors.
• You will have a CSCS Ticket,
• Strong work ethic in a team,
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
