Hyde Group is seeking an experienced multi-trade carpenter to carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in customers’ homes. The work focuses on carpentry—doors, locks, skirting, kitchen units and worktops—with some tiling and basic plumbing-related repairs.

You will work independently, manage your own workload, and record work and materials. A full UK driving licence and a basic DBS check are required to ensure safety and compliance on site.

Responsabilités

• Carry out multi-trade repairs, mainly carpentry, plus general maintenance as required.
• Diagnose and fix day-to-day repairs to doors, locks, frames, skirting and kitchen units.
• Complete carpentry repairs to kitchens, bathrooms, doors and windows in homes to a high standard.
• Do associated work such as patch plastering, sealing, decorating touch-ups, minor tiling, and replacing fixtures.
• Manage your own workload and work with other trades on more complex repairs.
• Record work done, materials used and progress through systems and reporting.

Hyde Group is recruiting an experienced multi-trade carpenter to carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in customers' homes. The work centres on carpentry, such as doors, locks, skirting, kitchen units and worktops, with some tiling, patch plastering and basic plumbing-related repairs. The post suits someone who can work alone to manage their own workload, with other trades on larger jobs. A full UK driving licence and a basic DBS check are needed.

What the job involves

• Carry out multi-trade repairs, mainly carpentry, plus general maintenance as required
• Diagnose and fix day-to-day repairs to doors, locks, frames, skirting, architraves, flooring, kitchen units, worktops, minor walls, tiling and basic plumbing-related items
• Complete carpentry repairs and related works to kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and other areas of customers' homes to a high standard
• Do associated work such as patch plastering, sealing, decorating touch-ups, minor tiling, and replacing fixtures, fittings, handles, locks and ironmongery
• Manage your own workload, and work with other trades on more complex repairs and projects
• Record work done, materials used and progress through work orders and reporting systems
• Deliver good customer service and keep residents informed through the repair process
• Carry out all work safely and in line with Hyde's health and safety policies, procedures and compliance standards
• Provide a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes
