Job summary

3D Personnel LTD is seeking a skilled 1st & 2nd Fix Carpenter for a construction project in Hillington, Glasgow. The role involves skilled carpentry across both 1st and 2nd fix elements, with duties ranging from installing stud walls and joists to fitting internal doors and completing finishing works.

You will work under the Site Manager, prioritising safety and teamwork, and bring your own hand and power tools, PPE, and valid CSCS card to the site.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card (Blue with NVQ).
• Must be hard working and driven.
• Must have valid ID/Passport.
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots).
• Must have own hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out both 1st Fix and 2nd Fix carpentry to a high standard.
• Installing stud walls, floor joists, roof timbers, door linings, and other first-fix elements.
• Fitting internal doors, skirting boards, architraves, ironmongery, and other second-fix joinery.
• Installing kitchens and completing associated finishing works.
• Completing snagging and remedial works as required.
• Following site instructions from the Site Manager and working efficiently as part of the team.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with current health and safety regulations and industry standards.
