Job summary

Leggwork Construction Services Ltd is recruiting a High-End Carpenter for a prestigious Corsham project in Wiltshire. This temporary, long-term role requires expertise in heritage and high-end works, with attention to quality and finish.

The contractor will perform first and second fix carpentry, work from drawings, and coordinate with other trades on site. Regular hours are 8–9 per day, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with heritage/construction background.
• Previous heritage carpentry experience is essential.
• Own tools and PPE required.
• CSCS Card preferred.
• Reliable and professional with attention to detail.

THE ROLE

LEGGWORK are recruiting a High-End Carpenter for a prestigious construction project in Corsham, Wiltshire. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced carpenter with a strong background in heritage and high-end works.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality carpentry works while maintaining excellent attention to detail and working alongside other skilled trades on site.

Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.

You'll be expected to:

• Carry out high-end carpentry works to a high standard
• Complete first and second fix carpentry works
• Work on traditional and heritage properties
• Carry out repairs, alterations and bespoke carpentry works
• Work from drawings and site specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work closely with other trades and site management
• Ensure all work meets the required quality and finish

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Previous heritage carpentry experience is essential
• Experience working on high-end or traditional properties
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Own tools and PPE
• CSCS Card preferred
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
