Job summary

LEGGWORK are recruiting a Carpenter for a long-term heritage construction project in Bath, Somerset. The successful candidate will have strong carpentry experience, ideally with a background in heritage or traditional buildings, and be confident carrying out high-quality work across the project.

Working hours are 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities as the project progresses, including Saturdays.

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction
• Heritage or traditional carpentry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Own tools and PPE
• CSCS Card
• Reliable and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix carpentry works
• Complete repairs, alterations and general carpentry works
• Work on traditional and heritage properties
• Follow drawings and project specifications
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship
• Work alongside other trades and site management
• Keep the site clean and safe
• Follow all health and safety procedures
