Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a young adult in Leeds. The role involves attending medical appointments, fetching prescriptions, and helping with daily living tasks to maintain independence.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, adaptable, and respectful of equality and diversity. A Full UK driving licence with access to a car is preferred, along with good communication skills and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and own car is preferred.
• Knowledge of LGBTQIA+ identities is essential.
• Familiarity with UK health and social care processes and organisations.
• Strong communication and listening skills are required.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to manage emails.

Responsibilities

• Attend medical appointments and retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist with wheelchair access and getting up stairs.
• Support participation in social events and leisure activities.
• Assist with grocery shopping, cooking, meals, cleaning, laundry and pet care.
• Assist with calls and emails to ensure smooth communication.

Skills
