Job summary

Prime Life is seeking an experienced Cook to base at The Fieldings Residential Home in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. You will prepare meals and drinks, plan menus, and provide a dignified dining experience for residents with varying needs.

A genuine caring nature is essential; a Food Hygiene and/or Catering qualification is preferred, with Prime Life supporting training where needed. DBS is fully funded, and a comprehensive holiday pay scheme is offered along with a refer-a-friend bonus.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene or Catering qualification preferred; training offered by Prime Life.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages according to residents' dietary needs.
• Carry out quality checks on food and storage.
• Plan menus based on residents' preferences and requirements.
• Assist with food service to provide a dignified dining experience.
• Maintain stock records and order supplies per policy and food safety rules.
• Keep kitchen clean and support deep cleaning tasks.
