Job summary

PrimeLife Ltd in Skegness is seeking a caring Cook to support residents with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. You will prepare meals, manage dietary needs, and help deliver a dignified dining experience in a supportive home environment.

This role offers regular shifts across a 7-day week, with DBS funding and opportunities for training and progression within a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and meals service.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to plan menus and accommodate residents' dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements.
• Undertake quality checks on food prepared and stored.
• Plan menus in line with residents' preferences and requirements.
• Assist with food service to provide a dignified dining experience.
• Maintain stock records and support with ordering and inventory.
• Keep kitchen clean, hygienic and compliant with food safety regulations.
