Job summary

Oakland Care in Eastbourne is seeking a skilled Chef to join our busy kitchen and support the Head Chef in delivering nutritious, high‑quality meals for residents. You will follow dietary plans, ensure food safety and presentation, and work closely with the team.

With at least two years' catering experience and strong communication, you’ll operate on a Days shift under a Zero Hours (Bank) contract, in a supportive environment that offers growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Knowledge of food regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutritious and delicious meals.
• Follow care and support plans for resident dietary needs.
• Ensure high quality, flavorsome and well-presented dishes.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and kitchen team.
• Manage stock and orders as needed.
