Travelers is seeking a Cargo Underwriter to manage profitability and underwriting for the Cargo line. You will process new business, renewals, and mid-term changes, while ensuring adherence to Lloyd's standards and company policies.

You will work under the Cargo Lead Underwriter, building partnerships with agents, brokers and customers and supporting data-driven decision making in a hybrid work arrangement.

Formación

• Experience in Lloyd's market and exploring underwriting risk factors.
• Underwriting experience with ability to assess risk and profitability.
• ACII qualification in progress or equivalent professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Support profitability, growth and retention of the cargo line.
• Ensure underwriting aligns with policies, controls and Lloyd's requirements.
• Enter quotes, risks and endorsements accurately in systems for reporting.
• Monitor market factors and industry/economic trends affecting cargo businesses.
• Provide guidance and coaching within the underwriting team.
