We have positions for Cargo Screeners operating with our prestigious, household-name client based at East Midlands Airport.

Job Responsibilities

The position primarily involves operating various X-Ray machines to assist in processing large volumes of freight in a busy warehouse environment. Additional duties may include Gatehouse Operation, Aircraft Search, and other Aviation Security tasks.

This is a night shift on a rotational pattern, including weekends.

Successful candidates will benefit from fully funded specific X-ray training, a recognized qualification across the Aviation Industry.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years UK residency. Due to licensing requirements, applicants must be over 18 years old.

Your Role at Work

As a Cargo Screener, you will be a key part of the Aviation security operation at our customer's site. Your duties will include:

• Using an X-ray machine to conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items in cargo.
• Recording and escalating issues or concerns.
• Conducting screening checks on all staff entering and leaving the warehouse, ensuring safety.

Our Ideal Candidate

Good English skills and confidence in communication are essential. You should be a team player with a friendly and professional attitude, and possess good PC skills. While security or aviation experience is beneficial, it is not essential as full training is provided. All applicants must have a minimum of 5 years UK residency and be over 18 due to licensing requirements.
