Part time (Weekdays 7am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 6pm) - 30 Hours Per Week, Permanent
Due to the opening of an additional school site in Caerleon, Ysgol Bryn Derw is seeking to appoint a caretaker to work 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, for 52 weeks per year. Holidays are to be taken during school holiday periods.
Ysgol Bryn Derw opened in September 2017 for young people aged 3-19 diagnosed with ASD and complex learning needs. From September 2025, the school will have 136 pupils across 3 sites (Gaer, Bettws, and Caerleon), aiming to provide high standards of education and support for all pupils regardless of their educational needs. We seek a committed caretaker who will thrive in this exciting environment and work effectively with pupils with specific needs.
