Dovetail & Slate Ltd in London is seeking a practical caretaker/ facilities assistant to help keep a busy education site safe, secure and well presented for learners, staff and visitors.

You will open and secure the site, set and check alarms, carry out minor repairs, move furniture and equipment, and report any issues requiring specialist attention.

Desirable experience in education or public sector, awareness of health and safety, and the ability to work on your own initiative are valued.

You'll join a further education provider in the South East, helping to keep the site safe, secure and well presented for learners, staff and visitors.

This is a practical, hands-on role. You'll be on hand throughout the day for the jobs that keep a busy education setting running — opening up and locking down, minor repairs, moving furniture and equipment, and reporting anything that needs specialist attention.

Your responsibilities will include:
