32.5 hours per week Term Time only plus 25 days

NJC Salary Scale 4, points 7-11

Actual Salary:£21,370 - £22,778

Oakfield CE (Aided) Primary School is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly motivated Caretaker/Site Manager who will take pride in maintaining our high-quality premises, whilst ensuring it is a safe environment for our children and staff. The successful candidate will be expected to assist with ensuring statutory checks are undertaken in line with regulations to ensure the safety of all users, whilst maintaining accurate records.

Our School is the largest primary school site on the Isle of Wight and we pride ourselves on the facilities we have on offer. We are looking to appoint a keen, amazing and enthusiastic person, who is willing to give their best in the interest of our children and develop their own skills to make the most of what can be offered at Oakfield.

Appropriate training can be given to the successful candidate where needed.This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same.You should be sympathetic to the ethos of a church school.
