Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a reliable Caretaker/Site Manager for a primary school in Barnet, North London. The role involves daily site maintenance, safety checks and coordination with contractors to ensure a secure school environment.

You'll oversee day-to-day operations, contribute to a welcoming school environment, and work closely with leadership and admin teams. This is a long-term, full-time position through an agency with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a caretaker, site assistant, facilities or maintenance role, desirable.
• Experience working within a school or similar environment, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with contractors and external services when required.
• Support with deliveries, moving furniture and setting up rooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the school site and grounds.
• Ensure site procedures and health and safety requirements are followed.
• Respond promptly to any site-related issues that arise during the school day.
• Work closely with the school leadership and administrative team.
