Temporary Handyman / Caretaker - Student Accommodation

Location: Liverpool City Centre (L3 2BX)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour
Contract Length: 4-5 weeks (Temporary Position)

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Caretaker to support the maintenance and compliance needs of a student accommodation building in Liverpool City Centre.

The building will be unoccupied, offering a calm and well-structured work environment. This is an ideal short-term role for someone with basic repair skills and an eye for health & safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general repairs (e.g. doors, hinges, handles)
Replacing lightbulbs and minor electrical work
Basic plumbing and painting touch-ups
Testing fire alarms and other compliance-related systems
Conducting weekly building checks and recording findings
Keeping communal areas tidy, safe, and in good condition
Reporting any serious maintenance or safety issues to managementThe Ideal Candidate:

Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, or caretaking roles
Comfortable performing regular compliance and safety checks
Good basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs
Able to work independently and manage their own workload
Health & Safety awareness and attention to detailWe Offer:

£14.10 per hour (weekly pay)
40 hours/week - Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
