Caretaker

12.5 hours per week, term time only plus 3 weeks in school holidays

Colwich CE Primary School

Salary: £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata (pay award pending)

Actual Salary: £7,551 - £7,670

Grade: 3

Hours: 12.5 hours per week (7.15am – 8.45am) and (5.00pm – 6.00pm)

Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent, Term-Time plus 3 weeks (42 weeks p.a.)

Start Date: 1^st August 2025 (negotiable)

Location: Colwich CE Primary School, Main Road, Colwich, Stafford. ST17 0XD.

Mid-Trent Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a caretaker at Colwich CE Primary School. This is a key role and so we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to the post.

The successful candidate will have a varied role, being responsible for duties such as, the unlocking and securing the premises, completing and recording regular system checks (fire alarms, water, lighting) and also general maintenance and grounds clearing and inspections Flexibility will be needed for some maintenance duties and supporting the Trust with absences as required.
