Job Description

An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Infrastructure Delivery, Stirling Council, for a Caretaker/Cleaner supporting Whins of Milton SISS, Chartershall, Stirling.

The successful candidate will deliver caretaking and cleaning services, including key-holding, in support of the school community on a 15-hour per week, 39-week per year, permanent contract.

Hours of work will be 7.30am-8.30am, a break, then 3.30pm-5.30pm, Monday to Friday, paid at Stirling Council Grade 3.

Personal protective equipment, tools, and training will be provided where necessary.

Applicants should be capable of moving and lifting heavy items, cleaning surfaces to head height, be prepared to work alone, and sometimes outdoors in inclement weather.

Applicants will also require basic IT skills and be willing to undertake training to utilize Stirling Council's online training and HR IT applications.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application progresses after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
