Job Details

This position is for a permanent Caretaker/ Cleaner based at Halbeath Depot, Dunfermline, covering the local area as required.

Hours of work are as needed between 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 to £24,890.91 (pro rata) and have access to a range of benefits, including:

  • We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
  • Pay is every 4 weeks.

The Person

  • Experience in resolving telephone enquiries.
  • Practical knowledge in a customer-facing environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Teamwork skills (ability to work collaboratively).
  • Ability to clean and maintain all designated areas to a high standard.
  • Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel throughout the required area within limited timescales.
  • You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in the role.
