Job summary

The Caretaker role with Devon and Cornwall Police is based in Torquay and is a full-time, permanent position within a 40 km operational radius around the base station. Salary ranges from £25,713 to £26,703 per year.

Responsibilities

• Undertake minor alterations to fixtures & fittings.
• Undertake minor alterations to buildings & provide advice and knowledge on the same subject.
• Provide mobile service as tasked by the Central Repairs desk and/or the Buildings Officer for that area.
• Liaise with contractors and order & supply materials to achieve the above.
• Undertake some manual lifting and carrying, sometimes of heavy items.
