Join our client's team as a Caretaker.

Are you a reliable and proactive individual with a hands-on approach? Do you take pride in keeping a school environment safe, clean, and well-maintained? If so, they’d love to hear from you!

They are seeking a dedicated and proactive Caretaker to join their team, working across two school sites. This role is integral to ensuring the school environments are safe, clean, and well-maintained for their pupils, staff, and visitors.

Job title: Caretaker
Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year
Salary: ALT Grade D Point £24,598-£25,183 Annually, Actual
Closing Date: Midday, Friday 18th April 2025

Key Responsibilities

  • General site maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, and decorating.
  • Cleaning and ensuring all areas meet hygiene standards.
  • Monitoring and maintaining heating, cooling, and other systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies.
  • Liaising with contractors and external providers as required.

What They’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in site maintenance or a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred, as travel between both school sites is required.
