Join Our Team as a Caretaker – Where the Little Details Make a Big Difference

Location: The Lammas School, 150 Seymour Road, London, E10 7LX
Days/Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £12.50–£13.00 per hour, with excellent benefits

About the Role

At Sodexo, we believe that outstanding service starts with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to support the daily operations at The Lammas School, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the security and safety of the premises, including key management

  • Conduct routine water temperature checks

  • Carry out painting, decorating, and general maintenance tasks

  • Inspect and maintain toilet facilities and main communal areas

  • Assist and support the cleaning team as needed

  • Respond to helpdesk requests efficiently and effectively

  • Complete both planned and reactive maintenance tasks

  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (1 week in 4), with an additional callout allowance (once fully trained)
