From day-to-day repairs to general site upkeep, your hands-on support will help ensure everything is in top shape. You’ll follow health, safety, and environmental procedures while delivering high-quality work that truly matters.

Job Description

This role is based on site at Kings Lynn - Investigation Centre, working 8am-5pm (40 hours per week), Sunday to Thursday.

What you’ll be doing

  • carry out minor repairs and assist with general maintenance of equipment across the site
  • undertake a range of reactive and preventative maintenance tasks as required
  • support site upkeep through tasks such as painting, decorating, basic plumbing, and joinery
  • perform cleaning duties to ensure facilities and equipment are hygienic and well-presented, including safe disposal of waste
  • report equipment faults or issues to the Maintenance and Repair Senior Technician
  • monitor and replenish stock levels of consumables and maintenance supplies

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance or caretaker role
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment, particularly in non-office settings with varied operational risks
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently when required
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physically fit with a positive, can-do attitude suited to a hands-on role
  • Experience working across diverse client environments or facilities
