CARETAKER Start Date August 2025
NJC Band 3 Points 6-11 (Actual Salary £25,183 - £27,269)
36.25 hours per week, 5 weeks (26 days) holiday per annum, increasing to 6 weeks (31 days) after five years’ service. All holidays to be taken in school holidays. The college operates from 7am to 7.30pm, Monday to Friday, and the successful candidate will share these hours with our Site Manager and other Caretaker. The average working day will be 8 hours, including a 45-minute unpaid break. Some flexibility will be required.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Altrincham College as a Caretaker.
Are you comfortable handling various tasks? If you can assemble flat-pack furniture, manage deliveries, fix sinks, and supervise our cleaning team while engaging with students during lunch outside, then this could be the right place for you! We are looking to appoint a Caretaker who will work alongside our Site Manager, undertaking all aspects of site management to ensure our school is clean, secure, and compliant, while responding to changing priorities during the school day.
Working as part of this team, you will be required to carry out duties outlined in the attached job description to the highest standard.
