Overview

We are working with a primary school in Enfield that is seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker Assistant to join their site team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping a school safe, clean, and running smoothly.

Working Hours

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am - 6:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school site each day
• Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance, and general caretaking duties
• Ensuring the school is safe, clean, and well-presented for pupils and staff
• Supporting with deliveries and setting up rooms when required
• Reporting any health & safety issues to the Site Manager

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role (school experience desirable but not essential)
• Good practical skills and the ability to carry out basic repairs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Awareness of health & safety procedures
