About The Role
Ashworth Grange is seeking a Caretaker with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, along with some IT skills. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, especially when interacting with residents and colleagues.
As a Caretaker, your responsibilities include ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. You will carry out audits, keep records up to date, and perform maintenance tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
