A prominent education institution in Cambridge seeks a Caretaker to serve as an ambassador, assisting visitors, students, and ensuring a welcoming campus. JOB TITLE: CARETAKER
LOCATION: CAMBRIDGE
HOURS: 37 PER WEEK (ROTA BASIS 7AM TO 6PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY; 7PM ON THURSDAYS)
SALARY: £24,092 - £24,292 PER ANNUM
This is more than a caretaker role. You will be an ambassador for the college by meeting and greeting visitors, as well as supporting students and colleagues who require assistance. The role is varied and includes day-to-day tasks that keep our campus an inspiring place to learn, ranging from general maintenance to providing a reassuring presence on site.
The hours are typically Monday to Friday with start and end times on a rota basis (earliest start 07:00 to latest finish 21:00). There is potential for overtime and some weekend working when events are held on campus.
