Abbots Green Academy in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to maintain a safe, clean and well-presented school environment.
You will be responsible for day-to-day upkeep, routine maintenance, monitoring health and safety standards, and supporting the smooth operation of our facilities.
This role suits someone with practical maintenance skills, a flexible, can-do attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; full training will be provided.

We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to ensuring our premises are safe, secure, clean and well-presented for pupils, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the school site, carrying out routine maintenance tasks, monitoring health and safety standards, and supporting the smooth operation of our facilities.
We are seeking someone with practical maintenance skills, good problem-solving abilities and a flexible, can-do attitude. You will be organised, dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, maintenance or site management role would be advantageous, although full training will be provided where appropriate.
