Job Role: Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding.

Previous experience and/or qualifications in care are not essential but preferred. A compassionate attitude and a desire to help others are important qualities.

Responsibilities include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, dressing
• Serving food and assisting with eating
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Helping with toileting and hygiene
• Maintaining a tidy environment and managing supplies

Work involves using mobility aids and may include escorting patients within hospital departments. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.

We also recruit other healthcare staff, including General Nurses (RGN), Community Nurses, Specialist Nurses, A&E Nurses, Endoscopy Nurses, and Theatre Nurses.
