An opportunity for a part-time Careline and CCTV Operator has arisen within our award-winning Safer Runnymede team based in Addlestone, Surrey.
The Careline and CCTV Operator will work on a structured shift rota including early, late, night, weekend, and Bank Holiday shifts. Responsibilities include monitoring town centre CCTV cameras across Surrey, overseeing alarm receiving systems, and responding to calls from the elderly or vulnerable on the “Careline” Community Telecare System. You will also serve as a first point of contact for Borough-related issues outside normal hours. This role offers rewarding job satisfaction and growth potential.
We seek candidates on a full or part-time basis, with significant experience in customer service or control centre environments. Essential skills include excellent observational and communication abilities, along with a caring and patient demeanor. A current public space CCTV operator’s license, experience with Telecare, liaison with police, and good local knowledge are advantageous.
Shift times:
Part-time applicants will work the same shift times three days each, separated by six rest days. All shifts include a 20% enhancement for bank holidays, weekends, and unsociable hours.
Full training on all systems will be provided.
The successful applicant will undergo NPPV2 vetting by Surrey Police. Appointment is contingent upon successful vetting, which may take up to 12 weeks.
