At Sunrise, our Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality of care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities:
  1. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, assisting with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and understanding their unique preferences and personalities.
  2. Notify management of changes in residents' conditions and recommend adjustments in care and services.
  3. Assist residents in life skills and other enriching activities as indicated in their profiles.
  4. Incorporate multi-sensory experiences into residents' daily routines.
  5. Participate in developing and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
  6. Manage a designated group of residents during the shift, ensuring their well-being through regular checks.
  7. Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and promote safety and risk management policies.
  8. Respond to dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality standards.
  9. Encourage and assist residents in life skills and activities as per their ISP and profiles.
  10. Uphold our Principles of Service in serving residents and guests.
Qualifications:
  1. Dedication and passion for serving seniors, with excellent customer service skills.
  2. Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
  3. High School diploma or GED; additional certifications may be required by state regulations.
  4. Must be at least 18 years old.
  5. Previous experience with seniors preferred.
  6. Ability to make decisions in the best interest of residents.
  7. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
