Job summary

Summerset Prebbleton Village in Prebbleton is seeking a Caregiver to join a small team delivering high-quality personal care and support for residents. The role covers mornings, afternoons and nights, with a 4-on/2-off pattern and 30–40 hours per week, plus a short onboarding training window in January 2027.

You’ll contribute to mealtime support, personal hygiene, activity facilitation and care planning, working in a compassionate, team-based environment that values diversity and growth

• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something special from the very beginning, where you’ll help deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a state-of-the-art environment.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Prebbleton Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical Duties Include

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

You’ll need to be available for three weeks of paid, onsite training from 18 January to 5 February 2027, running Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, ahead of the Care Centre’s official opening.

You will work a 4 days on, 2 days off rotating shift pattern with a minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week. We have opportunities across either morning (7:00am-3:00pm), afternoon (3:00pm-11:00pm), or night shifts (11:00pm-7:00am).
