Overview

Careers Service Manager, Education for Industry Group (EFI). Permanent, Full-Time. Locations: FRA, Electra House – London, Moorgate EC2M 6SE and LCBT, 3-5 Fashion Street, London, E1 6PX.

About the role

The EFI is seeking a Careers Service Manager to lead the delivery of an innovative and inclusive careers service across the EFI Group. This role plays a key part in enhancing the student experience and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.

You will work closely with teams including Delivery and Marketing to embed careers guidance into the curriculum and support the growth of our alumni community. The role also includes managing UCAS Fair events, external partnerships, and collaborating with tech partners to maintain our careers platform.

A key part of the role involves delivering professional and personal development sessions to students, supporting the EIF Ofsted Framework and ensuring alignment with Gatsby Benchmarks.

About you
  • Qualifications: Educated to Degree level or equivalent, with a specialist qualification in careers service, coaching, or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing or coordinating a Careers Service, delivering high-quality advice and guidance, and building strong communication with key external stakeholders and partners.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of the hair and beauty industry, education sector, and progression pathways, with an understanding of current recruitment trends and progression routes within both university and further education contexts.
  • Passion: You will be an empathetic individual with excellent communication, analytical, and IT skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and support young people.

Salary

From £35,550 to £42,750 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience.
