Job summary

Pyrland School in Taunton is seeking a part-time Careers Co-ordinator to provide high-quality careers information, advice and guidance and operational support for students. You will work with the SLT link and PSHE Lead to embed the weekly Futures Friday programme across all key stages and to manage work-related learning activities and visits.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above, strong organisation, and knowledge of safeguarding and school policies.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to monitor usage and standards of equipment and facilities.
• Knowledge of relevant school policies and codes of safe practice within the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and embed the Futures Friday careers tutor programme across all key stages.
• Administer and coordinate all aspects of work-related learning and workplace experiences.
• Organise Year 10 work experience week, Higher education visits, career events and work-related talent academies.
