The Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Directorate for Students Team as a Careers Co-ordinator. This role is essential in supporting students through high-quality, impartial careers guidance, ensuring their successful progression into employment or further education. You will lead a dynamic careers team within the Student Life Centres, delivering a robust CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) programme across the College.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading and coordinating the careers team to deliver 1:1 and group careers guidance across all campuses.
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating the College-wide CEIAG programme, ensuring compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks, The Matrix Standard, and Office for Students B3 outcomes.
  • Monitoring student destinations, analysing data, and reporting on careers guidance impact.
  • Managing digital careers resources and ensuring strong engagement from students and staff.
  • Collaborating closely with curriculum teams, corporate services, students, parents, and external partners to deliver effective careers and employability support.
  • Supporting UCAS applications and leading on careers input for cross-college events such as open days and enrolment.
