A leading school in York is seeking a Careers Education Adviser to support students in making informed career choices. This permanent role involves planning and delivering a comprehensive CEIAG program, working closely with staff to enhance student success. The Joseph Rowntree School is looking to recruit a Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) Adviser to support our students in making well-informed and aspirational decisions about their future education and career pathways. You will develop close links with our Pastoral and Sixth Form teams to arrange careers events, assemblies, and bespoke support for individual students.
This role is integral to the future success of our students. The existing post holder has developed a well-planned and comprehensive programme of support that will be further developed by the successful candidate.
To plan, coordinate, and deliver a programme of CEIAG that supports all students in making informed career choices, enabling them to successfully progress to their next steps towards their chosen careers.
We are located to the north of the historic city of York, in an excellent learning environment with superb facilities.
This is a permanent role, ideally 37 hours per week, term-time only. Part-time working may be considered for an exceptional candidate (at least 22.5 hours per week)—please indicate your preferred working pattern in your application.
