About This Role
A leadership opportunity has arisen to join the Careers and Enterprise (C&E) Development Team as a C&E Development Manager. The role will lead and develop portfolios or projects that focus on embedding employability and enterprise within or alongside the curriculum. A recent transformation programme at UWE means the role comes at a pivotal time with an opportunity to shape good practice and new ways of working.
The C&E Development Team sit within the Library and Learning Services, offering an opportunity to collaborate with other leads in that space. Delivering employability will require strong connectivity and partnerships within Colleges and departments such as Research and External Engagement, Student Life, and Future Students.
Prioritisation of work and measuring impact will guide conversations and team identity. Working as part of a Career Development Leadership team to ensure consistency and quality in employability offerings will be a key aspect of this role during this exciting period.
About You
You should have a strong understanding of employability and enterprise in Higher Education, with a focus on impactful activities aligned with the curriculum. Insight into the graduate labour market, postgraduate study, and entrepreneurship as graduate outcomes is essential. You should be data-savvy, familiar with key indicators of progress for students and institutions, and a collaborative leader of people and projects.
Location
This role is based at our Frenchay campus, with some time required at our Glenside campus. The campus offers modern facilities to support success.

The role requires at least 50% campus presence to ensure team connectivity and leadership. Salary will be based on skills and experience, following university guidelines.
