Do you have experience in managing quotes, pricing, or procurement to help increase air & ocean quotation successes and shipment volumes, based on a winning attitude? If so, join our Regional Pricing Team. Location can be flexible across the EMEA region, as long as there is an OIA office in your home country.

You will respond to requests from OIA branches, sales teams, network agents, customer platforms, RFQ & Tender opportunities to deliver optimal pricing results by maintaining supplier relationships, origin & destination relationships, and pathways for shared regional procurement. Your focus will be on providing solutions and quotations aimed at winning and maintaining business.

Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with operational and commercial colleagues, suppliers, Product Owners, and Regional Managers will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities include:

Operations

  • Create a high-energy working environment with a can-win attitude.
  • Ensure all quotations are communicated seamlessly across stakeholders and recorded in CW1 for accessibility, recording, and reporting.
  • Coordinate complex, regional, and local pricing to achieve fast turnaround times and response KPIs.
  • Liaise with product experts to ensure pricing logic results in appropriate costs and profits.
  • Hold regular meetings with suppliers to maintain relationships and drive better price returns.
  • Negotiate and develop pricing agreements to lock in set price structures and service standards.
  • Negotiate rate reductions to provide effective selling rates for the commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems (AEO, ISO, etc.).

Sales, Marketing & Business Development

  • Maintain credibility and representation of the OIA brand.
  • Stay informed about forwarding and logistics markets, key customers, and competitors in the region.
  • Develop new pricing tools, processes, and systems to enhance bidding efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Expand market presence and position OIA as a credible key forwarder.
  • Communicate wins and losses to review and adjust trade strategies.

Customer Service

  • Ensure colleagues can deliver excellent, consistent customer experiences.
  • Maximize opportunities to serve customers and expand market share.
  • Understand customer needs to find creative solutions.
  • Be proactive and utilize stakeholder support when challenges arise.

People

  • Nurture strong relationships with colleagues locally, regionally, and globally.
  • Receive and incorporate feedback to improve services and success.
  • Contribute to group initiatives such as product development, margin management, and stakeholder reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in procurement or product specialization within freight forwarding.
  • Ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to speak the local language.
  • Eligibility to work in the respective country.
