Job summary

Bolton St Catherine’s Academy in Bolton is seeking a passionate CEIAG practitioner to guide and support pupils aged 11–16 in career development and educational pathways. The role emphasises strong teamwork, effective communication with students and parents, and a commitment to inclusion.

You will deliver CEIAG activities, organise work experience, and ensure statutory CEIAG duties are met, with ongoing CPD opportunities and a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in CEIAG duties within a school context.
• Experience with students aged 11–16 and ability to build rapport.
• Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff; team player.

Responsibilities

• To provide advice and guidance to support students to identify and explore their career development needs and associated educational pathways.
• To organise effective work experience and work-related learning programmes to motivate students and raise aspirations.
• To ensure the Academy meets its statutory duties in relation to CEIAG.

• Has previous experience of working with children aged 11 -16 in an education setting.

• Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

• To provide advice and guidance to support students to identify and explore their career development needs and associated educational pathways.

• To ensure the Academy meets its statutory duties in relation to CEIAG.
