Job description

As a Career Development Advisor for the London Postgraduate campus, you will be responsible for inspiring, guiding, and directing students as they explore career options, define targets, plan their go-to-market strategies, and secure employment after Hult.

Responsibilities

  1. Career Skilling- Organize and execute employability curriculum and interactive workshops covering fundamentals such as Resume, LinkedIn, Personal Branding, Networking, Pitching, and Interviewing, in partnership with campus staff.
  2. Career Platform- Contribute resources and knowledge to Hult's online career platform, guide students on its use, and facilitate access to curated materials, insights, and advice.
  3. Career Advising- Present the Global ROADmap, provide coaching sessions (group and 1:1), and support students in identifying targets and creating action plans for career success.
  4. Career Connections- Facilitate connections between students and the Hult community, including alumni, faculty, local employers, and mentors.
  5. General- Maintain student career portal, keep case notes, monitor career progress through reports, and partner with academic staff to support students throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • Passion for Hult's mission to educate, inspire, and empower international students in their careers.
  • Knowledge of recruitment practices, market dynamics, and regional employment opportunities.
  • Experience in career advising and recruitment, with familiarity with student development practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and online platforms.
  • International experience and understanding of multicultural environments are a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree required; postgraduate qualifications are highly valued.
  • Quick learner with a passion to support students' growth.

Additional Notes

This role requires on-campus presence 4 days a week, with a possible 1-day work-from-home allowance, subject to change. Ability to work in the UK is mandatory.
