The Forward Trust is seeking an Employment Specialist to support individuals in Folkestone, Hythe and Dover. This full-time role (35 hours/week) offers flexible hours where possible and focuses on helping people overcome barriers to employment, including health challenges, to secure meaningful work and progress toward independence.

You will receive full IPS / Connect to Work training and ongoing development, with mileage reimbursements for travel between sites.

Formación

• Experience in employability or recruitment is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in health, wellbeing or support services is desirable.
• Experience in adult learning or skills programmes is desirable.
• Coaching, mentoring or support work experience is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Manage your own caseload and provide personalised support throughout the employment journey.
• CV writing, job applications and interview preparation.
• Career coaching, confidence building and job searching.
• Deliver one-to-one and group support sessions.
• Build relationships with local employers and identify opportunities.
• Provide in-work support to help sustain and progress employment.
