Care & Youth Workers Needed for Teaching Assistant Roles, Plymouth

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking Youth Workers and Care Workers to support vulnerable pupils in various SEND settings and schools in Plymouth. We specialize in special educational needs and disabilities, working with mainstream, SEND schools, alternative provisions, and PRUs. Job durations vary from one day to a whole term, depending on the provision's needs.

Ideal candidates have experience working with children or adults with SEND, are unfazed by challenging behavior, and can remain calm under pressure. Patience, understanding, and resilience are essential qualities. Training in Team Teach or MAPA is advantageous. We support children and adults with conditions such as ADHD, Attachment disorders, SEMH, challenging behavior, ODD, PMLD, SPLD, and more.

If you're interested in transitioning to a teaching assistant role, we collaborate with several Plymouth schools. We offer excellent pay rates (£85-£95), a refer-a-friend scheme, and regular work, typically from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
