Housing 21 is seeking a caring Care Worker to support residents in our schemes, living independently in their own apartments with communal spaces. You will provide daily living assistance, meals, personal care, and help residents follow care plans in a friendly, supportive environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support with household tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and bill payments.
• Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring residents are comfortable and hydrated.
• Encourage residents to follow care plans and activity routines.
• Assist with morning routines, personal care, and evening routines.
• Monitor wellbeing and report progress to managers.
• Maintain a calm, friendly demeanor and use initiative to help residents.

Tasks can include:

• Supporting with household and domestic tasks, such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and financial transactions such as paying bills.
• Making meals, drinks and snacks where necessary.
• Encouraging and enabling residents to follow agreed care plans.
• Assisting residents with getting up in the morning, providing personal care including washing / bathing and dressing; helping with undressing and going to bed in the evening, as well as providing help and ensuring medication is taken as required.
• Putting resident wellbeing at the heart of the service, going the extra mile to ensure our residents can live their best lives and ensuring managers and key agencies are kept informed of progress.

• Are paid by the hour, not by the job. £13.48 per hour, full time equivalent £24,601 per annum (based on working 35 hours per week)
