Job Role: Care Worker

The Care Worker will be expected to assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding.

The Care Worker must have at least 6 months of experience in care and possess compassion.

Care Workers assist with daily care in homes, hospitals, or patients' own homes. They are vital members of teams in hospitals, care homes, and clinics.

Previous experience and qualifications in care are essential.

As a Care Worker, you would work under the supervision of nursing staff alongside other Care Workers. Duties may include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
• Assisting with eating
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
• Helping patients move around
• Assisting with toileting and bedpans
• Maintaining a tidy ward or home
• Managing supplies and equipment

Your work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients within hospitals. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.

We also supply staff to NHS and private sectors, including nurses, general nurses, RGN, NMC, Band 5 and 6, HCA, community nurses, specialists, A&E, endoscopy, theatre staff, physiotherapists, and doctors.
