Job summary

Meridian Health & Social Care in Wakefield is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support service users in their own homes. You will help with personal care, meal preparation and participation in activities to promote health and wellbeing.

Shifts include days and afternoons, with alternate weekends, and a warm, supportive team environment. Experience is desirable but your values and attitude toward caring for clients are the most important.

As a care worker your responsibilities may include some support with personal care needs and preparing meals, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as gardening, shopping trips and social occasions. No two days will be the same!

Our service users are individuals, and all deserve to be treated as such.

Experience and qualifications are always desirable but for this role your values and attitude towards caring for our clients is the most important thing.

Shifts will be days and afternoons, 7:00 - 14:30 and 14:30 - 22:00. There are also alternative weekends.
