About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our family. The successful applicant will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to the residents of our Nursing home. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming and washing, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing
• Assist residents in their dietary requirements and all nutrition and hydration
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist residents to engage in activities for mental and physical stimulation
• Support residents with mobility and any physical disabilities to enhance their physical well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with domestic activities such cleaning, preparation of meals and laundry.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to hygiene standards.
