Job summary

Cross Keys operates Kingfisher Court, an extra care development, seeking a compassionate Care Assistant for 20 hours weekly, 4pm–10pm with alternate weekends. You will assist residents with daily routines, meals, mobility, and shopping, with full training provided and no prior care experience required.

The role emphasises kindness, strong communication, and building trustful relationships in a supportive environment for residents aged 65+.

Job description

This permanent post sits within the care team at Kingfisher Court, an extra care development of 79 apartments for people over 65 run by Cross Keys. The work centres on helping residents with washing, dressing, eating and drinking, and everyday tasks such as cooking, shopping or moving them in bed. It is an afternoon role of 20 hours, 4pm to 10pm, with alternate weekends, and full training is given so prior care experience is not required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
